Safety

Customer safety is Sappee’s top priority. The Bike Park tracks have been designed and built with safety in mind; potential collision points along the tracks have been identified and, where necessary, fitted with protective padding. Despite efforts to minimize risk, accidents can occur in downhill biking—just as in any other activity—so please ensure you have adequate insurance coverage. Staff trained in first aid are always on-site at Sappee Bike Park during opening hours.

Using the lifts at Sappee Bike Park

Sappee features a carpet lift, a standard T-bar lift, and the user-friendly “Easy-Loop” lift designed specifically for bikes. Staff are always on hand at both the bottom and top stations, so you don’t need to know everything beforehand. We are happy to help, especially during your first few runs.

Check out the Bike Park FAQ for more detailed tips on using the lift.
