Online banks
The payment intermediary service for online banking payments is implemented by Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. From the user’s perspective, the service works just like traditional online payments.
Short-term bookings
Reservations can be made through our online store or sales service. Payments for a paid pitch are not refunded in the event of cancellation, unless it is due to illness or death. However, you can transfer the reservation to another date if you wish. If you wish to transfer, please contact Sappee’s sales service as soon as possible. The price of a caravan pitch does not include electricity, unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation. Electricity will be invoiced afterwards by email; in winter, electricity can also be paid at the lift ticket desk upon departure.
Caravan park
The resort’s caravan park is located at the top of Sappeenvuori hill. The caravan park has around 225 spaces.
Seasonal pitches
A seasonal pitch means a pre-booked and paid pitch for a caravan or motorhome. A seasonal pitch only includes a pitch for either a motorhome or caravan. Not for example for both a caravan and a motorhome, but for the second caravan or motorhome a second pitch fee including electricity is also charged.
Booking a new seasonal pitch
When booking a seasonal pitch, we recommend that the customer visits the caravan park to choose their desired pitch. The reservation is confirmed within 14 days by paying the reservation fee to Deltarec Oy’s account, otherwise the reservation will be canceled. In the event of cancellation, the already paid reservation fee will not be refunded. The final payment is due on a previously agreed due date, however, no later than 15.10. and the payment must be made before the caravan is brought to the area. Customers who already have a seasonal pitch are entitled to the same pitch for the following season. Vacant pitches will be announced in May.
Re-booking a seasonal pitch for the next season
If you already have a seasonal pitch, you can book the next season through an online form. Information regarding next season’s bookings will be sent via e-mail at the end of the preceding season.
The booking must be made as follows:
• Summer and winter season bookings by 30.4.
Starting at the beginning of May, all vacant pitches will be available for bookings.
Paying the season pitch reservation fee
The reservation is confirmed within 14 days by paying the reservation fee to Deltarec Oy’s account, otherwise the reservation will be canceled. In the event of a cancellation, the already paid reservation fee will not be refunded. The payment for a summer season pitch is made in full within 14 days of the reservation to Deltarec Oy’s account. The summer spot fee is non-refundable.
Seasonal pitch summer and winter prices
There are two pricing periods for winter pitches, a cheaper summer price and the normal price. The summer price requires payment for the pitch before August 31. From September 1, the price is the normal winter price. You can inquire about the price of a summer pitch from the sales service. All payments for a winter pitch must be paid by October 15 at the latest. The pitch price for a reservation made after October 15 must be paid in full within 14 days after the reservation is made.
Seasonal pitch
Those who have paid for a seasonal pitch will receive an e-mail contract form in the autumn. They can accept the contract by filling out the information required in the form. The customer will also receive a copy of the agreement via e-mail. Due to the electricity metering of the caravan site, the customer must inform us either by e-mail or by phone of the date when their caravan has been brought to the pitch. If no specific date is communicated to the resort, the electricity metering will begin at the beginning of the season. In the contract, the customer agrees to comply with these terms and conditions and the rules of procedure.
A seasonal pitch includes both benefits and obligations.
Saunas, dish washing station and chemical toilet emptying
The price of a seasonal or daily pitch includes the use of the sauna on Friday and Saturday evenings, and at varying times during the holidays. Sauna times are announced on notice boards, online and in the Sappee Caravan group on Facebook. The sauna and shower facilities and the changing room must be left at the end of the sauna time at the latest. Sappee does not store items forgotten in the saunas.
The Caravan maintenance building contains men’s and women’s saunas, changing rooms, toilets, a washing area, a clean water collection point and a place to empty the chemical toilet. In addition, the washing area has a washing machine and dryer, the use of which is subject to a fee. Payment is made to Sappee’s rentals or ticket desk during their opening hours. The services are available all year round, however only during a paid reservation.
Obligations
Sappee Resort plows the roads in the caravan area, but each person renting a seasonal pitch is responsible for clearing the snow on their own pitch and e.g. putting gravel on the ground if needed.
Seasonal pitch electricity
The entire caravan area uses remote metering of electricity consumption per caravan pitch. There is no need for a separate meter in a caravan or a campervan, and electricity consumption is billed according to consumption. Electricity consumption is measured in the caravan area distribution centers using the Mitrix electricity metering system. In the new caravan area, i.e. caravan pitches 150-306, a three-pin Euro plug is required for the electricity pole, which the caravan pitch holder must obtain themselves.
Tracking pitch and electricity payments
The electricity consumption of a seasonal pitch is intended only for electrification and heating of the caravan. All electricity consumption of the seasonal pitch (including car heating and yard lights) is metered and the customer is charged according to consumption. The transmission loss between the metering point and the consumption point is taken into account in electricity pricing.
Electricity is invoiced as follows:
• Winter season electricity is invoiced every month starting in December. Electricity bills are generally sent by e-mail. If you would like a paper invoice, there is a postage charge of €4/invoice. More detailed information on invoicing can be found in the contract.
• Summer season electricity is invoiced after the end of the season.
Due to the sale of electricity as a debt, Sappee Resort has the right to request the seasonal pitch customer’s personal identification number when making a reservation.
The electricity bill is collectable. If the bill is not paid despite reminders, the bill will be put on collection. At the same time, electricity supply to the location in question will be stopped. Sappee Resort reserves the right to change the electricity price during the contract period, notifying 1 month before the price change.
Natural conditions
Sappee Resort does not compensate for damage caused by natural conditions in the caravan area.
Epidemics, pandemics and restrictions imposed by authorities
If an official decision orders any of the services to be closed, Sappee will also comply with these regulations. The sauna facilities in the Caravan maintenance building are classified as public saunas. Restaurant facilities are also subject to regulations if they are ordered to be closed or the number of customers to be limited.
Rules
- Sappee Resort and its assigned maintenance personnel have what are called host’s rights. If guests staying in the caravan area disturb their neighbors and the situation is not corrected after being advised, host’s rights can be used and the rental agreement can be terminated immediately. In this case, the rental price will not be refunded to the tenant and the caravan must be removed from the resort area.

- A caravan can be brought to the resort area at an agreed time, starting at the earliest at the time announced in advance, and the caravan must be taken away by the end of the season. The start and end times of the season can be found on the Sappee’s web site.
- The caravan pitch must be emptied and left in a clean condition, as the area is open all year round.
ALL rubbish, waste and pallets must be removed when leaving the area, otherwise we will dispose of them at the end of the winter or summer season. For cleaning by Sappee Resort, we charge a cleaning fee of €100, which is paid by the seasonal pitch customer.
