FIREPLACE

• Open the fireplate in the flue by pulling it out by the knob as far as you can.
• Turn on the fire switch on the wall (across from the tv on the other side of the corridor).
• Make sure that the air control lever below the ash pan is pulled to the left.
• The ash pan must not be opened when starting a fire or when the fire is burning.
• Place firewood in the hearth, but don’t go over the MAX marking on the back wall of the fireplace.
• Light the firewood and keep the door slightly ajar at first, if necessary. Once the fire gets going, close the door. Newspaper or firelighters can be used as kindling.
• Do not open the fireplace door before there are only embers left. If you open the door any earlier, burning wood may fall out.
• You may now add more wood to the fireplace, but remember to stay below the MAX marking. Close the door.
• Once the fire has completely gone out and there are no more glowing embers, close the fireplate.

MAKE SURE THAT THERE ARE NO GLOWING EMBERS IN THE FIREPLACE!

• Please note that the surface and the door handle of the fireplace become very hot.
  Use the glove provided to open the door.

Never leave children unattended near the fireplace.

SAUNA

This sauna has an ever-ready heater, so there’s no need to wait when you want to enjoy the warmth – just go in and lift up the heater lid.

SAUNATONTTU EVER-READY HEATER USE INSTRUCTIONS

Going to the sauna:

• lift up the heater lid (NB! the inside of the lid can be very hot)
• throw 1 – 2 ladlefuls of water onto the rocks
• after a couple of minutes, the sauna is ready for you

Leaving the sauna:

• close the heater lid
• the heater will now return to standby mode
• please check that the green light is on in the controller

PLEASE NEVER TURN OFF THE HEATER.

Please also make sure to  leave the power on (green light on) when leaving the cabin.

FIREWOOD

Firewood can be found in the locked storage house outside. If you run out of firewood, please contact us at +358207559970.

BARBECUE

There is a WEBER gas grill on the deck of the villa, use of gas is included in the price of the accommodation.

Please remember to close the gas cylinder valve when you are done using it. If you run out of gas, please contact our sales service, the janitor or our rentals desk.

VENTILATION & AC

AC: AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMP

Your villa has an air-source heat pump which you can turn on if your cabin is too cold or warm.
Instructions for use can be found in the cabins.
ATTENTION! Do not use the cooling mode during the winter because the device may freeze and break.

BEDROOM HEATING

There is pre-set underfloor heating downstairs which means that the bedroom temperature can only be controlled via radiators. Adjustable radiators can also be found in the upstairs bedrooms that do not have underfloor heating.

DOMESTIC APPLIANCES

DISHWASHER

If you have problems with the dishwasher, please first check that the water is on. The switch can be found on the water faucet of the kitchen sink.

COLD STORAGE FACILITIES

The cabin’s refrigerator is empty on arrival. Please notice that if you fill the fridge with food and drinks that are not cold, it takes a while for the fridge to cool down again. Thus we recommend that you put only mandatory food items in first, and maybe use the freezer for pre-cooling your drinks and then moving them into the fridge.
The refrigerator door should also not be kept open for a long time.

WASTE DISPOSAL

Garbage cans can be found in the storage house outside. We recycle!

ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING

Electric vehicle charging is possible from the villa’s own two charging points. Pre-heating your car is also possible through these charging points.

There are also 10 more charging points in Sappee’s main parking lot (type2 max. 22kw). To use the charging point you need to download the application eparking.fi. Payment is made through the application, for more information please click the link below.

Charging and pre-heating your car from the cabin’s plugs is prohibited.
