The Sappee area offers three barbecue huts*, four lean-tos and two charcoal grills. The charcoal grills are located by the children’s playground. Many of the cottages have their own or shared barbecue facilities as well.

Huts and lean-tos are equipped with firewood, just remember to bring your own matches.The grills by the playground have charcoal and lighter fluid ready. If either one of these has run out, please contact Sappee’s Sales Service or rentals desk. Only coal is allowed to be used in these grills.

Please make sure to leave the barbecue site in a neat condition as you leave, both in and around the grill. Thank you!

*) The large hut next to the rentals building is open in the summer and winter seasons whenever the Bike Park trails/slopes are open. The hut located at the bottom of the kids’ slopes is accessible in the winter with a Family Park ticket. There are four lean-tos: one by the starting point of the Disc Golf Park, one by the slopes and two along the nature trails/cross-country ski tracks. There are also outhouses by the lean-tos at the Disc Golf Park and the nature trails/cross-country ski tracks (remember to bring your own toilet paper).
